Dandelion Outdoor Premium Fabrics for Marine, Outdoor & Architectural Needs
Explore our range of high-performance technical fabrics designed for diverse industrial, commercial, and residential applications. Each category is engineered with specific properties to meet demanding requirements.
Digital Printing Fabric
Material: A robust laminated fabric composed of a high-density Polyester scrim, coated or laminated on both sides with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). This creates a fully waterproof and durable sheet.
Applications: Truck Covers, industrial curtains, warehouse dividers, portable shelters, ground sheets, and large outdoor covers.
Key Advantages:
- Excellent waterproof and weather-resistant properties.
- High tensile and tear strength for long-term use.
- UV-resistant formulations available to prevent degradation.
- Flame-retardant and anti-mildew options.
Clear Mesh Fabric (PVC Mesh)
Material: Typically made from PVC-coated polyester yarns woven into a net-like structure. It offers transparency and airflow while maintaining strength.
Applications: Fencing for construction sites, sports cages, greenhouse shading, privacy screens, and protective barriers.
Key Advantages:
- Provides visibility and ventilation simultaneously.
- Reduces wind load compared to solid materials.
- Lightweight yet durable for outdoor installation.
- Effective for dust control and safety partitioning.
Solution-Dyed Fabric
Material: Primarily polyester or acrylic fibers where pigment is added to the polymer solution before the filament is extruded. This colors the fiber from its core.
Applications: Outdoor furniture, awnings, umbrellas, cushions, and marine fabrics where colorfastness is critical.
Key Advantages:
- Exceptional UV and colorfastness; resists fading dramatically.
- Superior resistance to chemicals, chlorine, and abrasion.
- Colors remain vibrant and consistent throughout the material's life.
Sunshade Awning Fabric
Material: Usually made from solution-dyed acrylic (e.g., Sunbrella®-type) or high-tenacity polyester with a PVC or acrylic coating. Designed specifically for solar management.
Applications: Retractable awnings, patio covers, pergola canopies, and window shades.
Key Advantages:
- High UV resistance (UPF 50+) for sun protection.
- Water-repellent and quick-drying.
- Breathable, reducing heat buildup underneath.
- Mould and mildew resistant, easy to clean.

PVC Film
Material: A flexible, unsupported sheet made primarily from Polyvinyl Chloride resins with plasticizers and stabilizers. It is a homogeneous material, not a fabric laminate.
Applications: Stationary and inflatable pools, water beds, protective liners, industrial curtains, and synthetic leather substrates.
Key Advantages:
- 100% waterproof and airtight.
- Highly flexible and available in various thicknesses.
- Can be welded for seamless constructions.
- Good chemical and abrasion resistance.
Roller Blinds Fabric
Material: Engineered fabrics, often polyester or fiberglass, treated with PVC or other coatings to achieve specific light filtration and stability.
Applications: Commercial and residential roller shades, blackout blinds, light-filtering window coverings.
Key Advantages:
- Excellent dimensional stability; resists sagging.
- Options range from total blackout to semi-transparent.
- Flame-retardant and easy-care properties are common.
- Smooth surface suitable for clean, modern aesthetics.
Inflatable Fabric
Material: A high-strength technical material, typically a polyester or nylon scrim, laminated with flexible PVC or TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) to create an airtight seal.
Applications: Inflatable boats (RIBs), stand-up paddleboards, inflatable docks, air beams for tensile structures, and promotional bounce houses.
Key Advantages:
- Extremely high tensile strength and puncture resistance.
- Airtight and waterproof construction.
- Lightweight and packable when deflated..
- Resistant to oil, saltwater, and UV exposure.
Drop Stitch Fabric
Material: A specialized subset of inflatable fabric. Two layers of woven material are connected by thousands of polyester threads (the "drop stitches"), allowing it to inflate into a rigid, flat panel.
Applications: High-pressure air floors for inflatable boats, rigid inflatable stand-up paddleboards (iSUPs), inflatable docks, and portable technical platforms.
Key Advantages:
- Achieves near-rigid stability when inflated to high pressure.
- Provides a flat, walkable surface.
- Exceptional weight-to-stiffness ratio.
- Remains lightweight and portable.

Printed Fabric (Traditional)
Material: A base fabric (often polyester, cotton, or PVC-coated material) that undergoes printing techniques like rotary screen printing or transfer printing.
Applications: Decorated tents, banners, flags, exhibition graphics, and customized furniture covers.
Key Advantages:
- Cost-effective for large, repeating pattern runs.
- Vibrant colors and good opacity on suitable materials.
- Established technology with reliable results.
PVC Mesh Fabric
Material: Similar to Clear Mesh but often refers to a more robust, knitted or woven polyester mesh with a heavy PVC coating, resulting in a flexible yet very strong grid.
Applications: Heavy-duty tarpaulin sidewalls, ventilation panels on truck covers, barrier netting, and reinforced privacy screens.
Key Advantages:
- Superior strength and tear resistance.
- Maintains excellent airflow and reduces wind catch.
- Water-resistant and easy to clean.
- Can be welded or sewn for secure assembly.
Polyester Fabric
Material: A synthetic fabric woven from polyester fibers. It serves as the foundational base scrim for most of our coated fabrics (e.g., Pvc Tarpaulin).
Applications: Base material for laminates, lightweight bags, linings, and as a standalone fabric for various industrial uses.
Key Advantages:
- High strength and excellent abrasion resistance.
- Low moisture absorption, dries quickly.
- Resists stretching and shrinking.
- Good chemical resistance and durability.
Digital Printing Fabric
Material: A specially coated substrate (often polyester, vinyl, or canvas) designed to absorb and hold ink from large-format digital printers.
Applications: Bespoke awning and canopy prints, high-resolution banners, custom interior décor, photographic backdrops, and one-off architectural covers.
Key Advantages:
- Unlimited design possibilities with no repeat limitations.
- Cost-effective for short runs and custom jobs.
- Photographic-quality, high-resolution output.
- Rapid prototyping and production turnaround.
